Innovative solutions for pioneering projects
Featured projects
Projects that we led:
Building automation market research
Smart Homes are the future, but it’s easy to lose the forest for the trees with all the different technologies out there. We helped Lister Buildings define and design their needs for system integration and select the right building automation partner.
Water+Energy system Brainport Smart District
In Helmond a new area development is rising with the aim of becoming ‘the world’s smartest district’, known as Brainport Smart District. We advised Lister Buildings on their energy and water system design for a 60-dwelling appartment complex.
Solar Carport Aardehuizen with battery storage
We helped develop a solar carport park, with a 70 kWp solar PV for the inhabitants of the Aardehuizen. A battery installation will store energy during the day.
Projects our team members were involved in
The following projects we were involved in while working for previous companies as employees:

De Ceuvel Aquaponics System
De Ceuvel is a so-called cleantech playground where many different (and often low-tech) technologies are being experimented with. The aquaponics system developed here provides both fish, vegetables and herbs, while recycling the valuable nutrients of each of them.
Solar Carport with Vehicle-2-Grid charging
The solar carport in EVA-Lanxmeer was one of the very first of its kind. Featuring 700 solar panels with a combined output of over 200 kWp, this carport can charge many different EV’s simultaneously. It also features Vehicle-2-Grid (V2G) Charging, to help stabilise the grid.

New Sanitation: vacuum toilets with nutrient recovery
New Sanitation is a new type of wastewater collection that uses suction instead of water to flush toilets. The resulting concentrated black water is very well suited to recover the phosphates and nitrates within. A biodigester can then produce biogas from the remainder.

Schoonschip Smart Grid
SchoonSchip has pioneered a unique smart grid that is connected behind a single meter connection. Batteries, solar panels and heat pumps work together to create an effective local energy distribution system that allows them to save on connection costs and balance the grid.

New Strategies for SIDE Systems
In this now world-famous study, four of The Netherlands’ most advanced eco-neighbourhoods were assessed on the performance of their energy system. By creating improved scenario’s, it was found that over 90% self-sufficiency was techno-economically viable.
